This works for both Windows and Mac computers. Windows computer users read on

Using Desktop Manager for Windows

If you have confirmed with your carrier that you can use the IP Modem feature in
BlackBerry Desktop Manager, follow the steps shown here. (Learn how to download and

install Desktop Manager for Windows on page 65.)

Click the IP Modem icon. If you don’t see this icon, you will need to
confirm with your carrier that you can use it. Sometimes, you can
reenable this icon by editing a specific file.
