Understanding the Modem Database

The Annex Manager modem database consists of modem definitions
stored in the Annex configuration file and in

include

files. Annex Manager

Setup mode gives you access to:

•

The

Modems

section of the Annex configuration file. The

Annexes you select must use the same configuration file on the
same host and must use the same address for current and
default boot hosts. The configuration file does not have to
reside on the same host as does Annex Manager.

•

Any

include

files referenced in the accessible Annex

configuration files. These

include

files contain the Annex

Manager default modem definitions.

References to

include

files must follow modem

definitions in the configuration file.
