Chapter 8 Setting WAN Module Values

Annex Manager User Guide

Part 2 Setup Mode

•

Line code

selects the T1 Network interface. Your selection must

match the codes supplied by the telephone company. There are
two choices:

AMI

Ring Back

controls the audible ring for incoming calls. This

parameter is useful only when you select

box radio buttons indicate the protocols

supported by each T1 DSO channel. You can choose one of the

box check buttons determine whether a channel

transmits and/or receives data. You can choose:

Outbound

Inbound

Inbound

The

DNIS Provisioning

box allows you to set the number of digits that the

Channelized T1/E1 interface is provisioned to provide. Typical values
are between 4 and 10. The default value is 0, DNIS is not provisioned.

When an option is unavailable it appears in gray; you cannot select
such options.

Using Push Buttons

The

Edit WAN Module

window uses the following push buttons:

•

sets the changes you made in this window and in

windows that have an OK button.

•

displays a window explaining the

Edit WAN Modules

window.

•

removes the

Edit WAN Module

window from your

display and returns you to the main window.
