the filling port to the oil pan.)
6. When the oil level reaches between the upper
mark and the lower mark, stop filling the oil and
tighten the oil filling cap.
7. Put away the cloth and clean around the filling
mouth
Caution
●
If the level of engine oil exceeds the
maximum mark A, be sure not to start up
the engine. Otherwise, it may damage the
three-way catalytic converter and the
engine. If too much is filled, please contact
the authorized dealer of BAIC Motor to
remove excessive oil.
Warning
●
The engine oil is a kind of inflammable
substance. When adding the engine oil, be
sure to be careful, and be sure not to splash
the engine oil onto hot components of
engine or exhaust system.
Replacement of engine oil Notes
Caution
●
Be sure to replace the engine oil at the
time interval as specified in the
Maintenance Information Sheet.
Go to the authorized dealer of BAIC Motor for
engine oil change. If the vehicle is traveling in
adverse conditions, such as:

Frequent short trips
●
Prolonged idling (such as taxis)
●
Dusty area
●
Often towing a trailer
●
Traveling in alpine region
It is necessary to increase the number of related
maintenance items between regular maintenance,
or shorten the maintenance interval.
