Start and drive smoothly, and drive at appropriate
speed according to road conditions.
When parking:
When parking on a flat ground, place the shift
lever to gear "P" (Models CVT transmission) or
gear "R" (models with manual transmission), and
block the wheels with stones. In the premise of
ensuring safety, do not use the parking brake,
which may freeze, resulting in that it is difficult
to release the parking brake.
Warning
●
When parking on steep slope, you must
pull up tightly the parking brake to apply
parking brake.
Brake essentials
Never use the brake pedal as a footrest. If the foot
is placed on the brake pedal when traveling, the
brake system may overheat. This will increase
the braking distance and may even lead to fault
of the brake system, so there is a risk of accidents.
Do not depress the brake pedal and the
accelerator pedal at the same time while driving.
Continuously depress the brake pedal will cause
excessive and premature wear of the brake pad.
After heavy braking, you should not stop
immediately, but you should continue to drive for
a short distance, in order to cool the brake faster
with the air.
If the brake system only undergoes a moderate
braking, the braking effect should be checked
from time to time. the method is that forcefully
depress the brake pedal at high speed, in order to
improve the gripping force of the brake.
Highly-efficient use of vehicle
●
Keep the correct tire pressure: Insufficient
pressure can lead to tire wear and waste of fuel.
●
Wheel alignment should be accurate.
Otherwise, it will lead to excessive tire wear,
increase the engine load, and waste fuel.
●
Do not place unnecessary items in the vehicle.
Heavy load will increase the engine load,
resulting in increased fuel consumption.
●
Accelerate slowly and steadily, and avoid
rapid start. Please get a high speed gear engaged
as soon as possible.
●
Avoid congestion area as far as possible, and
avoid continuous acceleration and braking. Stop-
go driving style wastes fuel.
