Warning lights, indicator lights and buzzer
Ensure that all warning lights, indicator lights,
and buzzer are working properly
Windshield defogger and defroster
When operating the heater or air conditioning,
check whether air can be appropriately and
sufficiently blown out from the outlets of the
defogger and defroster.
Wiper and washer
Check whether the wiper and washer are working
properly. If scratches are left after the wiper
works, you should immediately go to the
authorized dealer of BAIC Motor for
replacement of wiper blade
Windshield washer
Check whether there is sufficient washing fluid
in the windshield washing fluid reservoir.
Braking Fluid Level:
Ensure that the brake fluid level in brake fluid
reservoir is between the MIN and MAX lines
Engine coolant
After engine cooling, check the coolant level in
the reservoir.
Engine oil
Park the vehicle on the flat ground, shut down the
engine, and check the engine oil level with a
dipstick 10 minutes later. (See "Engine oil level
inspection method" on page 216)
Fluid leakages
After the vehicle is stopped for some time, check
whether there is fuel, oil, coolant, or other fluid
leaks below the vehicle. Water dripping after use
of air conditioning is normal. If there is any
leakage or obvious gasoline odor, find the reason
and immediately contact the authorized dealer of
BAIC Motor for repairs
Engine accessory belt
Ensure that the accessory belt is not worn, loose,
cracked or has no grease.
