If any of windshield and wiper blades is
contaminated, it will reduce the wiping effect.
The main contamination sources are dust, sand,
insects, tree soap and water wax used by washing
machine. If the wiper blade is not wiping
correctly, you should clean the windshield and
wiper blades with high-quality cleaner or mild
detergent, and then rinse with fresh water.
Steps for cleaning the wiper blade are as follows:
1. Lift up the wiper arm from windshield.
2. Hold the wiper arm.
3. Carefully wipe the dust and dirt on the wiper
blade and the surface of the windshield with a
soft cloth.
4. After cleaning, place the wiper arm gently
back into place.
Caution

In order to prevent horizontal stripes
forming on the glass surface when wiping,
the wiper blades should be cleaned
regularly. To avoid damage to the wiper
blade, do not clean it with gasoline,
kerosene, paint thinner, or other similar
solvents.

If the windshield after wiping is still
dirty, scrub the wiper blades with a sponge
or cloth. If the situation is not improved,
please replace the wiper blade.
●
If the weather is cold, you should check
whether the wiper blades are frozen every
time you turn on the front windshield
washer. You can only turn on the
windshield washer in the case of no
interference and obstacles.
●
In hot summer or snow weather and the
vehicle is not used for a long time, you can
lift the wiper arm to slow down the aging
of the wiper blade.
Replace windshield wiper blades. Wiper
wiping noise may be caused by the following
reasons:

Hard wax residues are consolidated on a
windshield when washing the vehicle in an
automatic vehicle washing equipment. This hard
waxy residue can only be removed with a special
cleaner.

If the wiper blade is damage, it also may cause
friction sound, and then you replace the wiper
blade.
●
There is dust or foreign material on external
surface of windshield.
●
The positioning angle of the wiper arm is not
correct. In such case, please get the angle
inspected and adjusted by the authorized dealer
of BAIC Wiper blade must be checked regularly,
and damaged wiper blade should be timely
replaced. Otherwise, it may scratch the
windshield.
