Vehicle towing
If the vehicle needs rescue, it is recommended to
find the authorized dealer of BAIC Motor or
professional rescue vehicle roadside assistance
company. When contacting them, you shall tell
them the transmission form, and whether steering,
braking, drive systems can work, in order to use
the appropriate towing way.
When towing vehicle, using proper towing
equipment will prevent vehicle from damage.
Professional vehicle roadside assistance
company personnel are familiar with the traffic
laws, so you can seek help from them!
Use a plate rescue vehicle to rescue.
The best towing way is to load and fix the fault
vehicle to the rescue vehicle. When the vehicle in
accident needs towing, this way should be
adopted in priority.
Caution
●
After loading the fault vehicle to the
rescue vehicle, pull up the parking brake
of the fault vehicle and fix the four wheels
to prevent the fault vehicle moving during
emergency braking of the rescue vehicle.
Tow the vehicle from the front.
Release the parking brake of the fault vehicle, lift
and fix the front wheels.
Caution
●
When lifting the front wheels of the fault
vehicle, you shall ensure that the rear part
has appropriate clearance. Otherwise,
during the towing process, the rear
bumper of the fault vehicle will bump with
the ground, causing damage
