To preempt the local user:
1. Click the Devices tab in the Explorer.
2. Double-click on the device in the Unit list.
-or-
Select the device, then click the
Connect Video task button.
-or-
Right-click on the device. Select
Connect Video from the pop-up menu.
-or-
Select the device and press
Enter
.
3. When the local user is viewing this device, a message will prompt you to terminate the local
user’s session (if you have appropriate access rights).
4. Click Yes to terminate the local user’s connection. The local user will receive a notification
message. The Video Viewer launches.
-or-
Click
No to allow the local user to retain the connection.
To close a Video Viewer session:
Select File - Exit from the Video Viewer menu.
