ACTT Xspotter Service Manual

Air System

• Check the operation of the low air pressure

warning light (Figure 28) and audible alarm.

BRAKE

PRESSURE

Figure 28

• Pump the brakes to bring the air pressure

down to activate the low air pressure

warning system. Alarm should activate at 60

psi (414 kPa) (Figure 29).

Figure 29

• Test air replenishment.
• Perform dynamic air pressure test.
• Perform static air pressure test.
• Check primary circuit low pressure warning.
• Check secondary circuit low pressure

warning.

Governor Test

Test the air compressor governor cut-in/cutout

as follows:

• Pump the brake pedal until the pressure

drops to 30 psi (207 kPa).

• At idle, it should take approximately one

minute to restore pressure to 100 psi

(689 kPa).

Windshield Wiper and Washer

• Check windshield wiper and washer/wiper

operation (Figure 30). With the windshield

wet, turn on the wipers and check the

following:

• Washer fluid output.

• Blades and wipers for wear and contact.
• Operation at each speed setting.
• Blades and wipers operate evenly.

Climate Control

• Check the operation of the heater, defroster

and air conditioner (if equipped) as follows:

• Operate heater/air conditioner fan through

all ranges, checking for vibration and

excessive noise.

• Check operation of all in-cab controls

In-Cab Monitor

• Verify that the camera images are displayed
