IDA8C, its evac function will be disable.
3. Contact Output Channel: Choose which contact output channel on the rear panel of IDA8C to
connect to the RU unit, and use it to control the primary/secondary switching action. This
contact is normally open.
Normally, the switching action of primary/secondary unit is controlled by bypass output.
However, if using the fiber-optic type or partial redundancy, the bypass output will not be
available, so use contact output instead.
When this contact output channel is used on IDA8C, its function for other use will be disable.
4. Device list: Ateis Studio software will automatically list all the connected IDA8C units on
Device List, then users require to choose a unit for partial redundancy.
5. Clear: Click the button to cancel the current redundancy configuration.
6. Apply: Click the button to apply the current setting.

After applied the setting, the [Redundancy] grid on [Device Management] window will show
whether the setting has completed.
1. : This sign represents the IDA8C as the active end.
2. (1,2) : This sign represents the IDA8C as the standby end.
Step 2: Drag and drop the "Network" button on to the editing page.
Please note the IDA8C standby end will not be shown on the editing window. Only the IDA8C active-
end device will be shown on the editing page
.
Step 3: Click [Mapping] button and [OK] to finish the auto-mapping setup.
