Maintenance and Service

4.5.7 Disassembling the Manifold

Disassemble the manifold only if you need to inspect or clean it.

To disassemble the manifold:

1. Remove the screws securing the air cylinder to the manifold.

2. Remove the male connectors from the manifold.

CAUTION!

Protect the solenoid valve from contact with coating material or solvent.

Contamination could cause solenoid failure.

3. Remove the solenoid valve from the manifold. Inspect the solenoid gasket. If the gasket is

damaged, replace the entire solenoid valve.
