4.6.7 Attaching the Film Coater to

the Manifold

To attach the film coater to the manifold:

1. Reinstall the three O-rings in the air and fluid ports on the backside of the film coater. See

2. Loosen the cylinder block clamping screws.

3. Place the film coater over the locating pins on the manifold. Make sure the tilt fork slides into

the slot in the shifter bearing.

4. Secure the film coater to the manifold with the holder and screws. Tighten the cylinder block

clamping screws.

5. Make sure the tilt mechanism moves freely by pushing and pulling on the piston rod where

the cylinder attaches to the tilt fork.

4.6.8 Installing the Solenoid Valve

To install the solenoid valve:

1. If you have previously removed the solenoid valve gasket, place the gasket (convex side up)

over the drilled ports in the top of the manifold. See Figure 4-1.



NOTE

All three ports and two mounting holes must be visible through the gasket.

See Figure 4-15.

2. Place the solenoid valve on the manifold over the gasket. Place the solenoid mounting

screws in the mounting holes. Tighten them with the miniature Phillips-head screwdriver

shipped with the film coater. Do not over-tighten the screws.
