Maintenance and Service

4.5.5 Removing the Micro-Adjustment, Film Coater Cap, and Extension

To remove the micro-adjustment, film coater cap and extension:

1. Unscrew the micro-adjustment cap from the film coater.

2. Examine the O-ring inside the cap. Replace the O-ring if necessary.

3. Remove the four screws, securing the film coater cap to the top of the upper-body module

and remove the cap.

4. Remove the four screws from the bronze bushing at the extension end of the film coater.

Remove the bushing and extension from the film coater.

5. Remove the O-ring and Teflon washer from the lower-body module.

6. Inspect the O-ring and washer. Replace them if necessary.

7. Separate the upper- and lower-body modules.

8. Remove the O-ring from the pilot of the lower-body module.
