PROBLEM
TO CHECK
The display indicates good battery
charge but when attempting to
transfer the patient, the ceiling lift
stops.
• Contact your local Arjo agent to have the batteries
replaced.
The ceiling lift does not work when
pressing the buttons on the hand
control.
• Ensure the ‘’Power On’’ switches on both ceiling lifts are
pushed upward.
• Check if the auxiliary
UP
/
DOWN
buttons of the ceiling lifts
(located near the display) are working. If so, the problem
may be coming from the hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control
replaced.
Only the
UP
button on the hand
control does not work, meaning no
upwards motion in only one, or in
both straps.
• Check if the straps are completely wound up inside the
ceiling lifts. If so, the upwards motion has reached its
highest point.
• Check that the straps are not twisted, since this could
activate the "end of stroke" limiter.
• If the display indicates a malfunction code, contact your
local Arjo agent.
• Verify that the
Maxi Sky
2 Plus is in "Dual Mode"
(refer to
page 34).
• Check if the auxiliary
UP
button of the ceiling lift (located
near the display) is working. If so, the problem may be
coming from the hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control
replaced.
Only the
DOWN
button on the hand
control does not work, meaning no
downwards motion in only one, or
in both straps.
• Check if the strap is completely unwound out of the ceiling
lift. If so, the downwards motion has reached its lowest
point.
• Check if there is more than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) suspended to
the lifting strap. The ceiling lift needs a minimum tension
on the strap to operate.
• Verify if the
Maxi Sky
2 Plus
is in Dual Mode (refer to page
34).
• If unit display indicates a malfunction code, contact your
local Arjo agent.
• Check if the auxiliary
DOWN
button of the ceiling lift
(located near the display) is working. If so, the problem
may be coming from the hand control.
Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control
replaced.
Tilt motion is inverted (patient gets
"seated" when recline button is
activated and vice versa).
• Ensure that the leading ceiling lift (the one with the hand
control) has a green Quick Connect adaptor (see "Fig. 78"
on page 34).
• Ensure that the Quick Connect with the green dot is
connected to the green Quick Connect adaptor (see "Fig.
78" on page 34).
