Inspect all sling parts (attachments, fabric, stitch areas and strap) for signs of wear,
discoloration, deterioration or loose threads.
Clean sling as indicated on the product tag.
When necessary
Inspect the spreader bar for damage or cracks. Make sure all attachments are
properly secured.

Inspect spreader bar. Quick Connects latches should spring back freely in closed
position, pictograms are undamaged and Quick Connects are attached to the
proper ceiling lift strap (refer to Fig. 17).
Inspect spreader bar link. It should rotate and extend/retract freely.
Inspect spreader bar for damage or cracks. Hook latches should spring back into
closed position.

Clean the inside of the rail to remove accumulated dust on the rolling surface.
Clean the charging station contacts with a damp cloth.
Make sure that end stoppers and rail caps are in place.

Torque end stoppers to 20 N∙m. (15 lbf. ft).
Make sure that the bracket locking devices are not visible.
Make sure rail joints are closed and that the spring pins are centered.
Make sure the rail is levelled when it is not loaded.
Make sure the adjusted load setting of the lift is equal to or lower than the safe working
load of the installation.
Check that the accessories (e.g. X-Y system, Gate, etc.) are complete and correctly maintained.
Make sure that the attachments (ceiling brackets) have not been displaced, damaged or
removed.
Inspect track end stoppers. Inspect and tighten hardware (if necessary).
Perform a load test with the SWL (safe working load).
