4) Lower the spreader bar to release tension on the
loops.
Disconnect all loops.
Carefully move the ceiling lift away from the patient.
Limb Support
The
Maxi Sky
2 Plus can be used to assist with procedures where limbs need to be supported in
elevated positions.

1) Place the limb sling around the patient's limb.
Position the ceiling lift so that the spreader bar is
close enough to be able to connect the loops.
WARNING:
When using the lowering function
be careful to not hit the patient with the
spreader bar as this could cause injuries.

2) Connect the loops to the spreader bar and raise
the patient's limb using the hand control until it is at
the desired height. Be careful to not overstretch the
limb.
WARNING:
To avoid that the patient's limb from
falling out of the sling, always check that the
loops are correctly attached and remain in
tension as the weight of the limb is gradually
taken up. Otherwise, injuries could occur.
