Activate the server when prompted to complete the process. This step enables LCS within
the the Active Directory.

Note:

You may enable the Archiving service. However, it is not required for My

Teamwork LCS Integration Services.

If you are adding the LCS domain to an existing DNS Domain, you will need to configure
the DNS server that was just installed.
When completed, LCS should be configured and working.

After Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch

My Teamwork

for Microsoft Office Communicator

2005 is installed and the server is rebooted, Live Communications Server Middleware
Communications Service (MidCommun) will be automatically installed on the My
Teamwork server. You will need to configure the MidCommun service to respond
appropriately to Live Communication Server requests and provision each user (through
My Teamwork user settings) who requires Live Communications Server integration.

Note:

A new SIP proxy must be defined in the My Teamwork (ACS 7.1.4)

Configuration SIP Proxies page providing the Realm (Live Communications Server
Domain Name); Server IP Address (IP Address of the Live Communications Server
from which all invites will arrive); Port (standard SIP port 5060

is used by Live

Communications Server); Use TCP. (The Live Communications Server default uses
TCP rather than UDP which is the My Teamwork default.)
