Call signaling This presents a generally negligible load. For example, a two-party
call setup generates less than 20Kb of traffic. If a conferencing
server set up 240 calls simultaneously, that would generate less
than 2.4Mb of traffic.
GUI This is the HTTP/XML traffic generated by OmniTouch ACS
application servers which is negligible.
Instant Messages These do not require much bandwidth. There is approximately
1KByte overhead per message; that is, an IM message size =
1KByte plus the size of the text sent (typically short).
