General video information

Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch My Teamwork can be configured to set up video calls
between video endpoints using either peer-to-peer or multipoint mode using an external
video MCU. In peer-to-peer mode, the server issues SIP messages to two SIP video
endpoints, which then exchange media between each other. In MCU mode, the server
sends API commands to a video MCU which exchanges messages and media with two or
more types of SIP, H323, or ISDN video endpoints. You can use any SIP video client
installed on your PC provided the client is supported by the Radvision MCU. An example
of a third-party client is Counterpath Eyebeam.

Notes:

•

Peer-to-peer (P2P) calls require a SIP client.

•

As of My Teamwork release 5.0 (ACS 7.1), the Polycom MGC video MCU is not

supported for new sales. The Radvision Scopia is the only solution for multipoint

video with My Teamwork.

•

Voice-activated video switching is not supported by OmniTouch

My Teamwork at this time.

My Teamwork Web-based video client

The Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch My Teamwork video client is included with each My
Teamwork video client license. It is a SIP-based video client that allows users to
participate in a peer-to-peer or a point-to-point video conference from their desktop.
My Teamwork can support a maximum of 300 two-party conferences when the audio
codec is G.711. You can configure it to start automatically when a call is received using the
My Teamwork contact list, where you select
