plug-ins for Application Sharing

Application sharing uses ActiveX controls to execute the VNC Server and VNC Viewer
(client). These ActiveX controls (CSess Object, which is the server component;
CvncViewer Object, which is the client component) get downloaded and then installed as
objects embedded into Internet Explorer and Windows Registry. This only works on
Windows machines running Internet Explorer.

Resolving ActiveX version control conflicts

An ActiveX version control conflict may occur that causes the VNC Viewer to fail. To
resolve this, you should remove the ActiveX control (all CSess and CvncViewer objects)
and then download a new ActiveX control.

Note:

Close all Internet Explorer windows; then reopen the Internet Explorer

window.
