Non Contact- Fixed Height Control
Function:
Sets the site cleaning mode for fixed height control
Action:
After the site cleaning nozzle alignment by the laser pointer the site cleaning nozzle moves
over the site (sensor approach height). The site cleaning sensor is activated. The nozzle moves down
(approach height) where the initial site heating is applied (initial heating delay). The nozzle moves down
to the cycle start height (depart height) (start frequency delay). The nozzle oscillates (frequency
height) (velocity). The operator presses the footswitch when the process is finished (end frequency
delay).
Task Properties:
Approach Height (mm):
Sets initial distance of nozzle relative to board prior to process/heating.
Initial Heating Delay:
Time nozzle heating is applied at the sensor approach height prior to x/y operator
movement of the site cleaning tip. Note: It is important that the residue solder be molten prior to vacuum
control being applied. The nozzle tip must seal to register a correct vacuum force measurement used in
conjunction with the sensor initialize reading.
Place Velocity (%):
Speed of nozzle tip moving down to board.
Place Target (gram):
Force touch of tip to board.
Depart Height (mm):
Sets distance of the nozzle in relation to the board.
Frequency Height (mm):
Controls the up/down motion of the nozzle during the process, the larger
the number the larger the movement.
Accel (%):
Accelerate of the nozzle frequency.
Velocity (%):
Speed of the nozzle frequency.
Start Frequency Delay (ms):
Time before frequency motion starts.
End Frequency Delay (ms):
Time after frequency motion ends.
