this mode, measuring data of the wireless sensors is sent to the data
logger and configuration packets are sent from the data logger to the
wireless sensors.
Important: No network information of the wireless sensors is sent.
This means that in this operating mode, the ALMEMO
®

MeshViewer software cannot be used for network monitoring
purposes.
Operating mode
…with network monitoring
In this operating mode, measuring and configuration data as well as
network information (e.g. signal strength, neighboring nodes) will be
sent from every sensor. Network monitoring with the ALMEMO
®
470
MeshViewer software is only possible in this operating mode. Since
the bandwidth will be increasingly occupied during this operating
mode, the transfer of the measuring data might be delayed. On that
account, only enable this operating mode if you want to monitor the
network.
Operating mode Configuration
In this operating mode, only configuration data will be transferred
between the data logger and the wireless sensor. Sensor settings
can most quickly be made in this operating mode. In the operating
mode Configuration, no measurements can be started and the use of
the ALMEMO
®
470 MeshViewer software for network monitoring
purposes is not possible.
