7.5.4 How to use AMR WinControl

Use software version 8.2.8.0 or higher to be able to connect to the

ALMEMO

470 wireless data logger.

The software AMR WinControl must support the protocol ALMEMO

470.

The data logger must be connected to the PC via a USB connection,

via an Ethernet connection, or via an Ethernet network.

The data logger must not be connected to the ALMEMO

Control

software or to the ALMEMO

470 MeshViewer software.

1. Open the software AMR WinControl.

2. Click on

Settings.

3. Click on

Add connection.

4. Click on the field next to

Protocol.

5. Click on

ALMEMO A470 protocol.

Connection via USB

6. In the line

connection

click on

COM Port.

7. In the line

COM-Port

click on the corresponding COM-Port.

To identify the COM port number, see chapter 7.5.1 How to establish

a USB Connection, section Identify the COM port number.

8. In the field next to

Baud Rate

select the baud rate set in the data

logger. You can find the set baud rate in the data logger menu
Settings>Device settings>Communication.

9. Click on

OK.
