. Using the voltmeter, measure A3J10-B16.

If A3J10-B16 is

12V, perform the following steps:
a.
Replace the A3 RF assembly.
b.
Chapter 4, "Post-Repair Procedures and Performance Verification"

If A3J10-B16 is not

12V, replace the A1 Power Supply.

1.
Connect the signal generator’s RF output through a 10 dB attenuator to a spectrum analyzer.
2.
Set up the spectrum analyzer:
a.
Press

Set the reference level to +25 dBm.
c.
Set the start frequency to 50 kHz.
d.
Set the stop frequency to the signal generator’s maximum frequency.
e.
Set trace to Max Hold.
