Chapter 3

VEE Measurement Program Operation

Measurement

allows the user to specify a new data pattern.

Absolute Polarity Pattern

Specifies the data pattern defined by the user.
This button becomes active when the [Pattern
Mode] is set to ‘User Mode’. When you click
this button a popup window will appear that
allows the user to specify a new data pattern.
Consequently, [Bit Length] will reflect the
specified data pattern.

NOTE

The parameter values of Channel Bit Rate, Write Current and Sense Current that have been
set in the [Configuration] menu will automatically update similar parameters in this menu.

3. Click on the [Measure] button to start measurement. Results are displayed after

measurement.

Measurement
Display

The measurement window shows the average TAA, TAA+, TAA- and TAA
Asymmetry for both Isolated Pulse and Tribit patterns. It also shows the computed
absolute polarity in terms of percentage.

4. Click the [Return] button to return to Measure menu.
