Center Freq.

Specifies the measurement frequency of the
spectrum analyzer. This parameter can only be
used if [Freq.Mode] is set to “Manual”.

Freq. Mode

Specifies the setting of the measurement
frequency. Select either Auto Mode or Manual
Mode. If Auto is selected the measurement
frequency is automatically set. If Manual is
selected the frequency specified by Center
Freq. will be used to measure.

Meas. Type

Specifies the type of measurement sequence.
1)[Erase Write Meas.] means to perform a DC
erase, write data then measure. 2)[Write
Meas.] means to write a data, then measure. 3)
[Meas.] means to measure only.

NOTE

The parameter values of Channel Bit Rate, Write Current and Sense Current that have been
set in the [Configuration] menu will automatically update similar parameters in this menu.

3. Click the [Measure] button to start measurement.

Measurement
Display

The upper portion of the window shows the mean, minimum, maximum and standard
deviation of the Narrow Band TAA. The graph displays the measured Narrow Band
TAA for each revolution.

4. Click on the [Raw Data Trace] button to display the results of Raw Data.

This button

is not activated on the 4395A.
