IPC Offline Alarm
The system generates an alarm when the network camera is offline and, if desired, activates a
recording, PTZ, snapshot, etc. The alarm lasts until the IPC and the NVR resume their connection.

Enable
Check the box to activate the Alarm function.
Record Channel
Select the proper channel to record when the alarm occurs. Make sure to also set alarm record in the
schedule screen and select Schedule Record on the Manual Record screen.
Delay
To avoid rerecording the same event, enter the number of seconds to wait after the event has ended
before a new recording can begin. This value ranges from 10s to 300s.
Alarm Out
Check the box to enable the external alarm when the event triggers. In the boxes to the immediate
right, enable which camera(s) will record when the event occurs.
Latch
Select the time in seconds that the system delays after the external alarm has ended before turning
off the alarm and the activated output. This feature sets a postponement period before another
external alarm can be activated. Value ranges from 10 to 300 seconds.
PTZ Activation
Select this feature to set Pan/Tilt/Zoom movement when an alarm occurs. Click the
Setup
button to
open the PTZ Activation screen for setting up the camera.
