82 Electrical installation

Preparing control cables for EMC plates

6. Pull the cables through the EMC cushions.

7. Push the cushions together so they fit tightly around the bare screen and tighten the

screws.



Connecting the cables

•

Connect the cables for digital and analog input and output signals to the corresponding
terminals / modules.

•

If a twisted pair cable is used, leave the unshielded cable ends twisted until they reach
the terminals.

•

Leave unshielded conductor ends as short as possible (not longer than

50 mm)

•

Connect the shield of serial communications cables to the PE busbar located near the
fieldbus adapter.
