Command Examples
This chapter describes some commands in more detail.
25.1 Commonly Used Commands Overview
These are commands that you may use frequently in configuring and maintaining your switch. See the following
chapter for IEEE 802.1Q Tagged VLAN commands.
25.2 sys Commands
These are the commonly used commands that belong to the sys (system) group of commands.
25.2.1 sys log disp
Syntax:
sys log disp
This command displays the system error log. An example is shown next.

25.2.2 sys log clear
Syntax:
sys log clear
This command clears the system error log.
If you clear a log (using the
sys log clear
command), you cannot view it again.
25.2.3 sys version
Syntax:
