The following is an example.
• Sets the OLT to use Plato DBA mode.
• Enables last member query on the OLT.
• Sets the ONU is to send up to 3 group-leave query attempts
• Sets the ONU to time out each query in 10 seconds.
• Enables IGMP snooping on the ONU
• Sets the ONU to receive for 5 queries.
38.6 epon-profile Commands
This section describes the epon-profile commands you use to create an EPON profile with
bandwidth, MAC address learning, encryption mode, delay and priority settings.
You must first create an EPON profile name using the
epon-profile <name>
command.
Syntax:
epon-profile <name>
epon-profile <name> address-learning
epon-profile <name> address-limit <0-64>
epon-profile <name> dba min-up-bw <0-16000> max-up-bw <0-16000>
epon-profile <name> dba priority-class <0-7>
epon-profile <name> dn-policing
epon-profile <name> dn-policing max-dn-burst <0-8191>
epon-profile <name> dn-policing max-dn-bw <0-16000>
epon-profile <name> encryption-mode <both|downstream>
where
sysname(config)#epon-common dba-mode plato
sysname(config-epon-common)# igmp-last-member
sysname(config-epon-common)# igmp-last-mem-query-count 3
sysname(config-epon-common)# igmp-last-mem-query-interval 10
sysname(config-epon-common)# igmp-snooping
sysname(config-epon-common)# igmp-query-timeout-count 5
<name>
=
The IP address of a TFTP server on which you want to store the
backup configuration file.
address-
learning
=
Specifies the name of the configuration file.
address-limit
<0-64>
=
Sets the maximum number of MAC addresses a fiber port is allowed
to learn. For example, if you enter
8
for port 2, then only the devices
with these eight learned MAC addresses may access port 2 at any one
time. A ninth device would have to wait until one of the eight learned
MAC addresses aged out.
dn-policing
=
Applies the EPON profile settings to the downstream traffic.
priority-
class <0-7>
=
Sets the priority for the logical link to which this profile is applied.
encryption-
mode
<both|downstr
eam>
=
Sets the OLT to encrypt data using AES128 to provide secure
communication through the ONUs. You can apply data encryption to
downstream or both the downstream and upstream traffic.
