The following table describes the labels in this screen.
4.2.2.5 WPA-Enterprise/WPA2-Enterprise
WPA-Enterprise/WPA2-Enterprise differs from WPA-Personal/WPA2-Personal in that it
requires at least one RADIUS server to complete authentication. This makes it a slightly more
robust form of authentication.
From the
Method
menu, select
WPA-Enterprise/WPA2-Enterprise
to display the following
parameters.

from the drop-down list.
WPA-PSK
Enter the simple, common pass phrase that wireless clients will use to connect
securely to the NXC-8160 network.
Select
ASCII
or
HEX
as the
Input Format
and enter the key in the field provided.
Type a pre-shared key from 8 to 63 case-sensitive ASCII characters (including
spaces and symbols) or type a pre-shared key consisting of exactly 64
hexadecimal characters ("0-9", "A-F").
Group Rekey
Interval
This is the rate at which the AP sends a new group key out to all clients. The re-
keying process is the WPA equivalent of automatically changing the WEP key for
an AP and all stations in a WLAN on a periodic basis. Enter a time interval between
0 and 3600 seconds.
WPA2 Only
Select this option to only allow clients that support WPA2 to connect wirelessly to
the NXC-8160 network.
TKIP Only
Select this option to only allow clients that support TKIP to connect wirelessly to the
NXC-8160 network.
RADIUS Server
This field is disabled for the
WPA-Personal/WPA2-Personal
