5.5.2 ARP Table
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a protocol for mapping an Internet Protocol address (IP
address) to a physical machine address, also known as a Media Access Control or MAC
address, on the local area network.
Follow the steps below to view the ARP table.

To view the ARP table of a switch choose a switch from the list located on the left-hand
side of the screen.

Click the
ARP Table
tab.
Port
This is the port from which the above MAC address was learned.
Type
This shows whether the MAC address is dynamic (learned by the switch) or static
(manually entered in the
Static MAC Forwarding
screen).
MAC Amount
This field displays the number of MAC address entries in the MAC table.
Previous Page
Click Previous Page to display the previous screen.
Next Page
Click Next Page to display the next screen.
Current Page
This field displays the current page number.
Enter a number and click
Show Page
to display that page.
MACs/Page
This field displays the number of MAC address entries to display in one page.
Enter a number (1-99) and click
Show Page
to display that number of MAC
address entries in a page.
Polling
The text box displays how often (in seconds) this screen refreshes. You may
change the refresh interval by typing a new number in the text box and then
clicking the
Apply
button.
Close Click
Close
to close the screen.
