If this is your first time to add an email account in Email, type your email address and
password, and then touch
Next to let your phone check the incoming and outgoing server
settings.

If you have already added an email account in Email, in your email Inbox, touch >
Settings > ADD ACCOUNT . Type your email address and password, and then touch Next
to let your phone check the incoming and outgoing server settings.
Important: If the account type you want to set up is not in the phone database, you will be asked to
enter more details. You should get all pertinent information for the email account, such as incoming
and outgoing server settings, before you proceed.
3. Set the email checking frequency, download options, account name and the name displayed on
outgoing messages. Touch Next until the Inbox is displayed.
Add an Exchange ActiveSync Account
If you synchronize your phone with your Exchange ActiveSync account, you can read, manage, and
send email in the same easy way as with a POP3/IMAP account. However, you can also access
some powerful Exchange features.
1. Touch
> > Email .
2. If another email account is already set up, touch
> Settings > ADD ACCOUNT .
3. Enter your Email address and Password information and then touch Manual setup .

Contact your Exchange Server administrator for required sign-in information.
4. Touch Exchange .
5. Enter a Domain\Username , Password , and Server information.
6. Read the onscreen activation disclaimer and, if prompted, touch Next .
Note: If the server requires remote control over some of your phone’s security features, touch OK to
allow it.
7. Configure your Inbox checking frequency , Days to sync (days to synchronize between your
phone and server), and activate any other email settings, and then touch Next .
Note: If a screen displays showing the security operations that the server may do remotely to your
phone, touch Activate to allow these operations from the server through the Email application as a
device administrator.
8. Identify your new account with a unique name and then touch Next .
Compose and Send Email
Compose and send email using any account you have set up on your phone. Increase your
productivity by attaching files such as pictures, videos, or documents to your email messages.
