Disconnect any ECG cable or IBP probes from the Propaq M.

Power on the Propaq M without the

sensor attached.
Verify that the
SpO

numeric
displays INITIALIZING, changes
to SEARCHING, then goes blank.

Connect the
SpO
2
sensor to the Propaq M.
Verify that
SpO
2
numeric
displays SEARCHING.
3.
Set the simulator to 70%
SpO
2
and 60 PPM.
Attach the
SpO
2
sensor to the simulator.
Verify that after a brief period of
initialization, the
SpO
2
numeric
displays an
SpO
2
value between
67% and 73%.
Verify that the displayed pulse
rate reads 60 +/- 3 bpm.
