4.1.1 USER ID
Each time a new user is registered, the system automatically assigns this new user a User ID by
means of which he is identified conclusively.
User ID is assigned automatically by the software and
cannot be changed .
Assigning a User ID is extremely important in situations such as losing the key. As a matter of fact,
should the user ever lose his key he is simply given a new key number. The total amount to charge
to each user is, in fact, calculated considering the user ID and not the key number.
4.1.2 CHARGE LIMIT AND PERIOD
It's possible to set a maximum limit the user can recharge utilising the wage packet deduction
function (Charge Limit).
The Charge Limit is the most the user can recharge on each ZIP Loader Plus unit.
The Charge Limit refers to a time interval specified in the "Period " field:
A) Weekly: each week the user can recharge his key up to the maximum amount equivalent to
the Charge Limit value. The week begins on a Monday for the system.
B) Fortnightly: each fortnight the user can recharge his key up to the maximum amount
equivalent to the Charge Limit value. The fortnight begins on the 1st and 15th of each
month for the system.
C) Monthly: each month the user can recharge his key up to the maximum amount equivalent
to the Charge Limit value. The month begins on the 1st of each month for the system.
Example:
Supposing we have three Zip Loader Plus units at our disposal and to have set, for user Tom, a
Charge Limit of $20.00 at a Monthly Period; the user can recharge in one month (where the month
starts on the 1st of the month for the system) a maximum of $60.00 (Charge Limit x number of
units). This limit is only applicable for revaluations done using the payroll deduction function and
does not refer to cash revaluation that has no limit.
4.1.3 DEPARTMENTS
To make user management easier the user can be assigned a department. This information is
handled exclusively by the Zip Loader Plus Manager software and is not sent to the Zip
Loader Plus units.
The list of departments can be managed by pressing the key .
