4.3 TRANSFERRING THE USERS DATABASE TO THE ZLP UNITS
After the users have been entered in the ZIP Loader Plus Manager software database, these data
have then to be transferred to the ZIP Loader Plus units.
To do this proceed as follows:
1. Transfer the Users Database to the ZLP unit, via a 232/485 connection or Ethernet in the
"Single Connection" mode, by either pressing the key or selecting the Users Database
Æ Send All Users; user data is transferred to the ZIP Loader Plus unit and an indicator
signals transfer status, as shown in the following figure:
2. When all the user data have been sent the following message appears:
Each time the users are transferred to the unit, the existing Users Database stored in the
Zip Loader Plus unit is deleted.
The database of the revaluations and reservations are, however, not altered.
This data transfer function is not available if the system is working in the "Multiple Connection"
Ethernet mode. So if the same database has to be transferred to several ZIP Loader Plus units
utilising the Ethernet connection, proceed as follows:
1. Access the software Setup interface by pressing the key in the main window;
2. Choose "Single" in the "Connection" field
3. Select the machine you wish to connect to from the list of registered units.
