ELIMINATION / DISMANTLING
When disposing of the packaging materials the user must comply with the standards in force in his/her country regarding the
following materials:
• Wood/paper: non-polluting materials, but must be recycled properly;
• Polystyrene/plastic: pollutants which must not be burnt (toxic fumes) nor dispersed into the environment, but disposed of
in compliance with the standards in force in the country of use.
If the equipment is to be dismantled the user must, in compliance with EC directives and the laws in force in the country of use,
effect elimination and recycling of the following materials:
• Plastic and glass parts, insulated electrical wiring, rubber parts;
• There are no toxic or corrosive parts.
This product must not be disposed of as household waste but rather, when no longer used,
must be collected separately according to UE Directive 2012/19.
• Make sure that the new batteries are inserted correctly, respecting the symbols regarding the positive (+) and negative (-)
poles of each battery.
• Use batteries of the type and dimensions specified. Remove all of the batteries present inside the product.
• Keep the batteries in a cool, dry place.
• Dispose of the batteries in compliance with the current local Regulations. If the Regulations for the area cannot be identified,
refer to the instructions provided by the batteries’ manufacturer.
• Contact the Manufacturer’s after-sales service for any questions regarding the correct handling of the batteries.
Incorrect battery handling could lead to risks of fire, explosion or chemical combustion.
• Do not disassemble, perforate, modify, drop, throw to the ground or damage the batteries in any other way.
• Do not attempt to dispose of the batteries in fires or in waste incinerators and do not leave them in hot places such as, for
example, in a vehicle exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not store the batteries near ovens, stoves or other heat sources.
• Do not connect the batteries directly to electrical energy sources, such as household or vehicle electrical outlets.
• Do not insert the batteries into microwave ovens or any other high pressure containers.
• Do not immerse the batteries in water or wet them in any other way.
• Do not short circuit the batteries, for example, by storing them in pockets or purses where they might make contact with
other metal objects that could cause them to short circuit.
• Do not use or re-charge the batteries if they are leaking, discoloured, rusted, deformed, have an unusual an odour or show
any other signs of abnormalities.
• Do not touch the batteries directly if they are leaking. In such cases, the batteries must be removed using protective gloves
and immediately disposed of in an appropriate manner.
• Do not reverse the polarity of the batteries by inverting the positive and negative terminals.
• Do not use old and new batteries together and do not insert used batteries into other devices.
• Do not put the batteries into your mouth. If the batteries are accidentally swallowed, contact a doctor or a local poison
control centre immediately.

Replacement procedure
Make sure that the machine is completely
disconnected from its electrical power sources.
Make sure that the machine is at room temperature.
Open the bottom of the machine to access the
electronic board compartment and replace the
battery.
Use a CR2032 3V 180mA/h lithium battery.
