If a Real Time Clock option has been installed, then while in the idle state the display will
show the correct time instead of the dash.
Note:
Before the Model 25 will allow entry into a programming section the
PROGRAM
ENABLE/DISABLE SWITCH
located on the rear panel of the encoder must be set
to the
ENABLED
position.
ENTERING A PROGRAMMING SELECTION
While the Model 25 is in the idle state any of the six sections may be entered. This is done by
a two-key sequence as shown below, if configuring the Model 25 from the keypad. If
configuring from a CRT or computer, a “P” must be entered to display the main menu
followed by the section character.

PRESS and HOLD the
RESET
key.

While holding the
RESET
key, PRESS and HOLD the key for the desired section.

While still holding the section key, RELEASE the
RESET
key.

Now RELEASE the section key.
The Model 25 will now prompt for question 1 of the selected programming section.
PROGRAMMING SECTION 1 - CLEARING AND INITIALIZING
Prior to configuring the encoder for the first time, it is suggested that the Model 25 be
completely cleared to insure that the encoder is set to its factory settings.
