the Model 25 using the Tone Relay as a simul-select relay. When set to “0”, the tone relay is
used for its original purpose.
As soon as the last entry is made, the Model 25 saves the new settings to memory and returns
to the top of the General and
SEND
Button question loop. You can either enter another
number to go through the loop again or just press
ENTER/RETURN
on the PC keyboard to
return to the idle state.
SEND Button Setup
The four
SEND
buttons on the front of the Model 25 are used to send pages manually after
entering them from the keypad. These buttons need to configured before they can be used.
You will assign channel select relays to each button and set how the busy input for each
button is used.
Typing a single digit, 1 through 4, at the following prompt starts you through the
SEND
Button question loop.

most paging formats. Please see “Question 1 - Channel Select Relays” on page 72 for a
description.
CHANNEL SELECT RELAYS (000-255)

At the following prompt, the encoder expects a single-digit response (0 or 1) to indicate the
“Busy” polarity for the busy input associated with the Send button being programmed. The
default setting is “0”.

PA1;1>0
The two choices are: 0 = Input is BUSY when pulled LOW
