Software Version 2.10 or Earlier
If the Model 25’s software version is 2.10 or earlier, then once the file name has been entered
the following prompt will be displayed. This prompt indicates that the Configuration
Program is waiting for the Model 25 to begin uploading.
“Waiting for Model 25 to begin upload”
To begin Model 25 uploading the following key sequence must be entered:
Press and hold the
RESET
button on the Model 25
While holding the
RESET
button, press and hold the
ENTER
button on the Model 25
Now release the
RESET
button
Now release the
ENTER
button
Once uploading begins, the Model 25 will display an incrementing count. The Configuration
Program will display the prompt below:
“Uploading (file name) from Model 25”
When the Upload is complete, the Model 25 will display “
donE
”. The Configuration
Program will return to the edit screen.
F5 Function Key - Reset
Pressing the
F5
function key resets the Model 25. The prompt is displayed during the reset
period.

F6 Function Key - Stack Entry
Programming calls into the Model 25 Instant Call stack buttons requires that you first enter
the Instant Call button programming section. You will then be asked to enter the number of
the button to be programmed followed by the first call number. After the first call is entered,
you may either press the
RETURN
key, completing the button programming, or press the
C J
key sequence to enter a second call to be stored in that button. Pressing the
C J
key sequence and entering calls will continue until the last call to be stored in that
button has been entered. After the last call has been entered, press the
RETURN
key to
complete the programming of that key.
Creating a Configuration Printout
It is essential that good records be kept when configuring or making changes to the Model
25. While uploading and downloading configuration files provides a means for storing the
configuration data file, it does not allow an individual to see what was programmed into the
Model 25.
One way to create a text-record is to use the
F1
(PRINTER) function key. When the printer is
enabled, any text that is displayed on the screen is also sent to the printer on the LPT1 port of
