Either way, once the encoder stores the stack and returns to the start of the instant call
question loop, you can either enter the loop again to program another instant call key or
simply press
ENTER/RETURN
on the PC keyboard to return to the idle state.
GENERAL AND SEND BUTTON SETUP
This section of programming configures those features that control the general operation of
the encoder and allows you to define the operation of the four
SEND
buttons on the front
panel of Model 25s that have displays and keypads.
Entering an “A” at the top menu brings up the opening prompt for the general and
SEND
button setup.

The first prompt asks you to indicate whether you will be doing general programming or
working on an individual
SEND
button. A “0” selects general programming and entering a
“1” through “4” selects the
SEND
button with the same number.

General Setup
If you entered a “0” to the last prompt the next one will be for setting the operating mode of
the channel select relays. Enter a single-digit response (0 or 1) to indicate which mode the
eight select relays should operate in; Direct or Momentary. The default setting is “0” for
Direct mode.
