4.3.2 Cleaning Procedure
Spread a vinyl sheet over the floor to protect furniture, etc. from cleaning water before performing this work.
* Refer to Section 4.3.1 “Required Tools for Cleaning” for cleaning tools.

Remove the condensate pan according to Section 4.2.1.8, 4.2.2.8 and 4.2.3.8
"Removing Condensate Pan" and clean the condensate pan.

Remove the indoor fan motor and the fan runner assembly according to Section
4.2.1.3, 4.2.2.3 and 4.2.3.3 "Removing Fan and Fan Motor".

* Phillips Screwdriver
Remove the screws fixing the fan
fixing plate and then pull out the fan
fixing plate downwards.
After removing the fan fixing plate, cover the lead
wire with a vinyl sheet to avoid cleaning water.

* Bucket or
Paper Board Box
Scratch and remove the dust clogged in fins of the
suction side exchanger with a brush. Collect the dust
in a bucket.
TURN OFF all POWER supply switches.
