TPS REPLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove:

NOTE:

Align the slot

in the TPS with the projec-
tion

Temporarily tighten the screws (TPS).
4. Adjust:
●
Idle speed
Refer to “IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT”
section in the CHAPTER 3.
5. Calculate:
●
TPS coil resistance at idle speed.

If the TPS coil resistance is 5 k
Ω
, then the TPS
coil resistance at idle speed is:
5 k
Ω

(0.13 ~ 0.15) = 650 ~ 750
Ω
