Troubleshooting the power unit (trouble code not detected)
Troubleshooting consists of the following 3 items:

Blown fuse
Check the fuse.
Starter relay malfunction
Check the starter relay.
Engine start switch malfunction Check the engine start switch or main
switch.
LPS malfunction
Check the LPS.

Short, open, or loose connec-
tion in starter motor circuit
Measure the starter relay input voltage.
Check the wiring harness continuity.
Starter motor malfunction
Disassemble and check the starter
motor.
Y-COP is locked
Unlock Y-COP.
Starter motor operates,
but the engine does not
crank
Starter motor malfunction
Disassemble and check the starter
motor.
Stuck piston or crankshaft
Disassemble and check the power unit.
Stuck drive shaft
Check the drive shaft bushing.
