Fuel system

Adjusting the throttle stop screw

Start the engine and warm it up for 5 min-
utes.

Turn the throttle stop screw

in direc-

tion

until the specified engine idle

speed is obtained.

NOTE:

To increase the idle speed, turn the throttle
stop screw in direction

To decrease the idle speed, turn the throttle
stop screw in direction

Install a new O-ring

, and new gasket

, onto the carburetor body of the gaso-

line side, and then install the carburetor
body of the kerosene side.

Install the pilot screw, turn it in until it is
lightly seated, then out the specified
number of turns.

NOTE:

Adjust the throttle cable whenever the car-
buretor has been disassembled or the
engine idle speed has been adjusted.

For adjustment procedures, see Chapter3.

Install the carburetor assembly.
