Shared Folder Setup
Shared Folder
Use this option to add, modify or delete shared folders. The
administrator can select whether folders can be exported via NFS to
allow UNIX access only.
The name of the shared folder cannot exceed 15 characters. The
name can be formed by double-byte character languages, the same
as the language of the
NFP Storage Manager
interface, such as
Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese or Korean, etc.,
single-byte languages such as English, German, Spanish, etc.,
numbers, decimal point, “underscore”, and “minus” sign. The first
character however cannot be “minus sign”. The name is not case
sensitive.
Please note:
When naming a shared folder using language other than English,
please input the same language as the
NFP Storage Manager
interface to ensure correct language encoding. Thus, when
