1. Open the front cover.

2. Press the

Main Power Switch

to the On position.

3. Close the front cover.

General Power On

To turn the printer On:

1. Check that the

Main Power Switch

, located inside the front cover, is turned On.

2. Press the

Power On/Off button

, on the right side of the top front panel.

Note:

The entire powering-up process, from power-on through a completed self test, takes

approximately 3 minutes. Certain functions of the machine, such as copying, are available

before other functions, such as printing.
