Installing a circulation pump

See Section 9 for option layout configurations. Rotation and direction of flow varies in
each configuration.

Clean surface and apply Loctite 518 on mounting surface.
6.9.3
Install spline adapter in pump drive head.
6.9.4
Install SAE C/circulation pump adapter plate to pump drive mounting face.
6.9.5
Orient and mount the circulation pump per work order to proper head.
6.9.6
Follow Table in back of manual for proper torque.
6.9.7
Oil filter must be mounted after pump, following direction of flow.

Install hardware, hoses, and fittings.

Installing a head PTO
(if equipped)

6.10.1
Location of oil port on PTO head must be at top location when mounted.
6.10.2
Apply Loctite 518 or equivalent to the mounting face. The Loctite must go around and
between all holes.
6.10.3
Center the PTO on the head of the pump drive.
6.10.4
Secure the head PTO on a WP1-01 or WP1-02 unit. Install using the SAE C mounting
holes plus D to C spline adapter. Use fasteners and lock washers in all the through
holes.
6.10.5
Follow Table in back of manual for proper torque.
6.10.6
Repeat this twice to verify the torque.

Wipe excess sealant.

Installing a Blank Head Face Cover Installation

Refer to the assembly drawing, looking for all locations labeled as "blank." Install steel
blanking cover, gasket, bolts, and washers. Tighten the bolts according to the
specification on the head assembly drawing.
