Chassis / safety features

4.01.01

General

Adhere to the following

instructions:

Check operating and safety instructions on the machine. Replace

damaged and/or non-readable signs.
Ensure that hinges and links move easily and lubricate lightly.
Check the warning devices (signal horn, reflectors,  back-up alarm,

blinkers and warning flashers).
Check lighting.
Check screw connections which are heavily loaded and make sure

they have a tight seat, e.g. tie rod.

Checking the function of the parking brake

Uncontrolled driving behaviour!

Ensure that there are no persons or objects in the danger zone of the

machine.
Do not check functioning in case there is not enough space.
